ULEZ zone Extension to M25

Sadiq Khan has announced plans to expand the ULEZ zone to the Greater London area in a move to ‘improve air quality’.
Research by Imperial college London showed that there was only minor improvement in air quality within introduction of the current ULEZ zone (A406, A205 North, South circular) an overall improvement of just 3% to NO2 nitrogen dioxide levels over 12-week periods before and after the ULEZ zone came into enforcement.
There will be consultations before this is brought into effect, but it will likely come into force in 2023.

ULEZ generally effects vehicles that are not tax exempt up to 2003 for petrol and 2016 for diesel.
If this comes in to force it will affect a number of classic and modern classic owners as well as a number of events including the London to Southend.  TFL ULEZ Zone Has the air improved
