Early Sunday morning our intrepid members braved the British weather to meet at the Downham arms for the short drive to Billericay for their Christmas Market (All vehicles that started made it this year). Forming up on the high Street for the day’s events. The day kicked off with a traditional visit to the local tavern to enjoy a hearty breakfast, before heading out into the cold damp day to meet the public and enjoy the Market. Billericay Rotary club had local theatre groups, dance groups and of course the man in red all joining the Christmas parade along the high street between the stalls that lined the route. Thank you to all those who braved the weather to attend the day. |
